Paint Jobs: Blonde Pattern: Blonde
Other common names: blotched pattern phase; pale morph
This phase has a hypomelanistic effect on the over-all color of the animal, usually making the snake more yellow than their normal "H-phased" counterpart.
This is Bubbles, our '02 possible het for silver and paradox blonde male. Paradox is a new morph not yet understood, in terms of its genetics.
The longitudinal stripes and H's are gone leaving pale, light-centered, indistinct oval or diamond-shaped blotches running the length of the dorsum.
They're an uncommon find in the wild, making them coveted by hobbyists and naturalists. However, they have been popping up in Brewster County, TX with more regularity since their discovery in the late 60's and early 70's.
Most of ours will be het for silver (axanthic) and many will come from our triple hets, making them possible hets for albino, silver, and snow.
